Senior Information

The senior year resembles a sort of double-duty function. It is a time when you should celebrate your accomplishments, but it's also a time when you have to work hard to prepare for your future.

This year is filled with resume writing, work applications, admission applications, scholarship essays, financial aid information and the need to meet deadlines. Throughout your senior year, continue to build your resume by achieving academic success, as well as participating in extra curricular activities. Colleges and employers are very interested in well-rounded students.

Counselors will begin meeting with seniors individually in their own senior interviews. Senior interviews give counselors and students the opportunity to review the past three years of high school, talk about future plans, and talk about the process of achieving those plans.

What is the question?

What careers should I be looking at?

What do I want to do when I leave high school?

Where do I want to go to school?

Does the college I like have the major I want?

How do I apply to college?

Is the college I'm interested in visiting my school?

How do I look for scholarships?

How do I write a resume?

and more....

If you have further questions, don't hesitate to email your counselor.
